Regardless of varying skin types all of us can benefit from using a moisturiser with a sunscreen in it. It's a myth that it has to be a sunny day to make protecting your skin necessary. Although the majority of skin ageing is attributed to sun damage, other factors such as smoking and pollution are also to blame.

The advantage of using a moisturiser with an SPF as opposed to simply using a sun cream, even a specialist sun cream for the face, is that with a moisturiser you can select one that's particularly well suited to your skin type. Also, SPF moisturisers tend to have a much lighter consistency and so are less likely to cause an adverse reaction or encourage spots. In addition they also tend to contain more anti-ageing ingredients such as antioxidants that really look after the skin and help to keep you looking younger.
