MEN'S GOOD GROOMING GUIDE

SHAVING
For a really close shave with minimum irritation, preparation is the key.
Firstly, you should exfoliate your face to remove dead cells and smooth the skin underneath. Use Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub or King of Shaves K-XF eXFoliating Facial Scrub. Then apply hot water to your face using a face cloth or small towel.
If you have a goatee beard or sharp sideburns, then a shaving oil such as King of Shaves Original Shaving Oil or Supercooled Menthol Shaving Gel allows you to see what you're doing. Otherwise use a quality shaving cream and really work it in to the area for at least one minute with a good badger shaving brush soaked with hot water.
Follow the direction of the hair with your razor and stretch the skin, taking extra care not to shave against the direction of growth on your neck and Adams apple. Rinse and repeat for the closest shave.
When you've finished, pat your face dry and apply a good light moisturiser such as Dermalogica Active Moist or King of Shaves K-24 Active Men's Moisturiser. This will reduce redness and improve the appearance of your skin.

CLEANSING

STRESS
Too much stress is bad for you! Chill out with a massage to remove physical tension in your muscles. At home, add a few drops of lavender oil to a hot bath.

HAIR REMOVAL
